Nichole M. Thompson, born and raised in Springfield, Delaware County, has deep ties to her community. She attended Our Lady of Perpetual Help Grade School (Class of ’93) and graduated from Springfield High School in 1997. Nichole earned her Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education – Social Studies with minors in History, Geography, and Criminal Justice from The Pennsylvania State University in 2001.
She went on to attend Hofstra Law School in Hempstead, NY, where she gained valuable experience working for the Admissions Office, participating in the National Institute of Trial Advocacy (NITA) Program, and assisting with Family Law research. After graduating in 2004, she taught in the Springfield School District while preparing for the Bar Exam.
Nichole began her legal career at the Delaware County Public Defender’s Office in 2005, handling a demanding caseload across nine District Courts each week. She was later recruited to lead the Criminal Law Division at a private firm in Wayne, PA. After a year, she opened her own practice in 2008 and partnered with Lauren Donati to form Thompson & Donati Law in 2016.
In addition to her private practice, Nichole serves part-time as a Staff Attorney in the Child Support Division of Delaware County Domestic Relations. She remains actively involved in her community, guest lecturing at Springfield High School, participating in the Annual Career Day, and supporting the Mock Trial team. Nichole is a proud member of the Delaware County and Pennsylvania Bar Associations. She lives in Springfield with her husband and two young daughters.
